The Guardian Surface Linear is a Ministry of Justice (MoJ) approved luminaire designed for Standard and Safer Cell applications, delivering secure, high-performance illumination where safety and reliability are critical. Developed to meet the demanding requirements of custodial and secure healthcare environments, Guardian combines robust engineering with precise light control. Tested in accordance with MoJ specification STD/E/SPEC/022, it provides consistent, compliant lighting for high-risk areas, including cells, corridors, and shower/WC spaces.

Light Years Ahead Guardian Surface Linear (Safer Cell), a MoJ-approved anti-ligature, vandal-resistant LED surface-mounted luminaire, constructed with a 2.5mm powder-coated mild steel frame, 10mm composite polycarbonate lens secured by Resistorx tamper-proof screws, IK10++ impact rating, dual-circuit mains lighting with separate night light for low, medium, and high output, removable gear tray and LED engine plate for maintenance, 3000K colour temperature as specified by the MoJ, efficacy over 140 lm/W (1000mm version), available in 1000mm and 390mm lengths to fit existing cell footprints, Dirty Protest Cell version available, fully compliant with STD/E/SPEC/022.
